Dear Parents,

Welcome to another great year at Saint Ambrose School!

As we did last year, we will be participating in the Box Tops for Education Program to earn cash for the school. Last year we raised over $700.00 and expect to do as well this year. To help you identify products for this program, a list of qualifying products has been attached that you may keep on your refrigerator for quick reference. We receive 10 cents for every Box Top that is clipped and turned in.

A bag has been placed in each classroom for the collection of Box Tops. We ask that each child write their name and grade on the back of each Box Top they turn in. At the end of each month a name will be chosen from each grade to receive a free ice cream. The more Box Tops a student enters, the better their chances are of being selected.

Mrs. Yates has agreed to the following challenge: Any class who brings in ten times more Box Tops than she does by the 25th of October will earn a dress down day!

We need to turn in the first batch of Box Tops to General Mills by the 31st of October, so we will collect the Box Tops to meet this challenge up until the 25th of October. Hopefully most of you have been saving your Box Tops all summer, and we will be inundated with Box Tops the first week!

In case the ice cream and dress down days aren't enough incentive for you, the class who turns in the most Box Tops throughout the entire year will be treated to a pizza party before school lets out in June.

Thanks for helping to make this program a huge success!
