This is Mrs. Healy's eighth year as the St. Ambrose School librarian. She also spent three years as the kindergarten aide. She was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio and received her Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Virginia. She taught second and third grades for eight years in Albemarle County, near Charlottesville. When her sons were born, she retired and was a regular volunteer in their school libraries.

Mrs. Healy and her husband of 33 years have been St. Ambrose parishioners for the past 23 years. She now has a son who is a senior at the University of Kentucky and a son who is a college graduate. Her part time work at St. Ambrose Catholic School has given her time to participate in her family's activities, while enjoying the opportunity to work with the delightful children of the parish.
